Swn-y-Wylan is situated very close to the beach and golf course in the beautiful village of Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd. The region, situated on the north side of the Lleyn peninsula, is renowned for its safe sandy beaches, natural harbours and spectacular local scenery.

Very close by (15/20 mins walk across the golf course or beach) is the tiny fishing hamlet of Porth Dinllaen, home to the famous Ty Coch Inn, one of the most popular watering holes in Wales. Now under National Trust ownership, this tiny former tall-ship building port is one of the most photographed venues in the world. Ships built here in the 1800’s transported local slate to all corners of the globe.

The naturally sheltered beaches are now popular with water-sports enthusiasts of every type. Local fish and shellfish are still landed daily.

The market town of Pwllheli is approx 15 mins away by car and offers Supermarkets, Shops and state of the art Marina facilities. The famous bustling surfing and sailing scene of Abersoch is just 20 mins away.

Under 1 hour’s easy drive by car is the port of Holyhead, offering daily ferry services to Ireland.

Snowdonia too is less than 1 hour away by car, offering some of the most amazing walking and trekking opportunities in the whole of Europe.

Recent road improvements throughout North Wales have now put Morfa Nefyn within just 2 hours drive from Manchester Airport.
